The article explains the technical process of accessing a private server of World of Warcraft. I used Windows XP for this guide, but other computer should work the same way.
StepĀ 1
Go to C: Program Files World of Warcraft. You probably want a shortcut to get here, because this is where most work has been performed. Create a folder on your desktop called “realmlist WoW Blizzard. Realmlist.wtf program files WoW Copy and paste the folder you created on your desktop. Now that the backup is done, you’re ready to go forward.
Step 2
Now open Notepad. Go to File -> Open and open C: Program Files World of realmlist.wtf Warcraft. To view the file, you may need to change file types: from. Txt to all files. Delete everything in the database. Open your favorite browser and find the web server you want to go. Once on the site, find the realmlist code. It is generally the main page or a driving connection. It will look something like: “set realmlist ***** *****” without the quotes and whatever the particular server, it says. Take the code and paste it into Notepad to open the file. Save and exit.
Step 3
Now, you want the data to a backup server closet. Create a folder on your desktop called “[Whatever the private server is called] WoW realmlist” and placed it by the shortcut file to the program and back-up Blizzard. Copy and paste the realmlist.wtf it. Now, all the technical work is done. At its website, private server, there will be a registration form. Making an account (username and password will not be the same as the official language), click Finish or registry or something, and then wait several minutes for the server upgrade. Then turn to World of Warcraft, as usual, but his private account name and password of the server and play.
