How to extract music from World of Warcraft so you can listen to it outside the game, or put it in your favorite MP3 player.
* If you have not already done so, install World of Warcraft on your computer and any extension you like music.
* Download and install the latest version of MPQ Explorer from here: http://www.zezula.net/en/mpq/download.html. Be sure to select the appropriate version for your processor type. If you are unsure, download the 32-bit.
* When the options window appears after the initial launch of the program, just click OK.
* In the main window go to File-> Open MPQ files.
* Find your World of Warcraft folder, then click the data directory, then open the file common-2.mpq.
* In the dropdown menu select “Open the file in read-only.”
* In the left pane, right-click the folder “sound and select” Extract. ”
* Wait for all files to be extracted.
* The music is on your desktop in a folder called “work”. Enjoy!
